week 10

In the past two weeks, we made a drawing machine with the primary goal of drawing a perfect circle in the sand. We are able to flip our end effector so that we can draw with the point of a wooden dowel, or with a rake-like design to create patterns in the sand which resemble zen gardens. I worked mainly on the hardware—I configured the three stepper motors, worked on stablizing and building the chasis of the machine, and aided in the design of the end-effector.
